Semhof Organic alfalfa pellets Fat are not as fat as they sound, but they are a complete substitute for concentrated feed, especially for horses that are regularly worked. They rank one step below the alfalfa turbo and contain plenty of raw protein as well as natural minerals and trace elements, which are present in organic form and can therefore be easily absorbed by the horse and excreted again in the event of oversupply.
If you supplement Semhof Organic alfalfa pellets Fat, you can naturally provide essential amino acids, minerals, trace elements and vitamins on an organic basis through healthy green forage. In addition, Semhof Organic alfalfa pellets Fat is an optimal feed for heavy fodder horses to compensate for fluctuations and deficits in their roughage ration.
When harvesting our alfalfa, we take great care to meet the respective demands of different horses in their species. With a medium to high protein content, this is our second most deficient alfalfa. Due to its high mineral, crude protein and energy content with a medium sugar content, it is an excellent feed, especially for sport and leisure horses. It is also used as a high-quality source of protein and energy for pregnant and lactating mares as well as stallions of all breeds and horses in growth. It is also very suitable for old horses that lose substance.
We know our products exactly and know when and how they are best used. Our advice is non-binding and free of charge, honest and competent.

You can feed Semhof organic alfalfa pellets with soaked or dry fat. When fed wet, a ratio of 1:2 (1 cup alfalfa pellets and 2 cups water) with a short swelling time of 30-45 minutes is ideal. Dry feeding is also possible for horses that eat slowly and thus salivate sufficiently. For smaller doses, you can generally administer the pellets dry. Also suitable for dosage via automatic feeders.
